Show Day Arrival Times, Costumes and More
Sunday 18th February at The Roxburgh Theatre
Please read the below information carefully.
SHOW DAY ARRIVAL TIMES - All dancers MUST be on time for rehearsals on show day. If your child attends more than one group, they should arrive for the earliest rehearsal. Dancers can be dropped off in the theatre to be registered and will then stay with us until the show has finished. Audience can return to the theatre for when the doors open at 3:15pm. The Show starts at 4pm. There will be a bar - please bring cash if possible.
Elite - 9:45am arrival time.
14-18s - 10:15pm arrival time.
11-13s - 10:45am arrival time
Lyrical - 11:15am arrival time.
8-10s (purple and blue groups) - 11:45pm arrival time.
Street dance - 12:15pm arrival time.
Musical Theatre - 1:15pm arrival time.
5-7s (purple and blue groups) - 1:45pm arrival time.
COSTUMES
I will be providing some costumes, but the dancers need to bring what is listed below for their performances. All long hair is to be tied back neatly and out of the face. All dancers need to bring water, a jumper, sliders/flip flops and plenty of food. I advise devices be left at home incase they are lost, but if you would like your child to bring one, then it is their responsibility.
If you need to purchase an UP! Dance t-shirt, this needs to be done by Thursday 1st February at the very latest. Click here to order online.
All 5-7s & 8-10s: UP! Dance tie dye t-shirts, plain black leggings (or tracksuit bottoms for boys) No shorts.
11-13s: Plain black fitted shorts, UP! Dance t-shirt if they have one
Musical Theatre: plain black fitted shorts, UP! Dance t-shirt if they have one
Street Dance: plain black leggings/tracksuit bottoms, black or white trainers, UP! Dance t-shirt if they have one
14-18: plain black fitted shorts or leggings (as discussed in class), long or short sleeve plain black t-shirt
Elite: Long sleeve black leotard, plain black fitted shorts
PHOTOGRAPHY
We will have a photographer present at the rehearsals. Some of the images may be used for future marketing purposes e.g. website, social media, leaflets, booklets. No names will ever be attached to these images. If you do not want your child's images to be used for marketing purposes, please let me know.
