I cannot begin to tell you how completely devastated I am in this moment, but I have made the impossibly difficult decision to cancel our Christmas Show on 19th December. Even with the extensive measures in place, it has become clear that it is not safe to bring so many people together at this time. Our dancers have worked so incredibly hard for the last 9 months in preparation for this show, but with positive cases amongst our team, the performances they have so beautifully produced, can no longer go ahead. Changing these performances on the day during rehearsals is not a pressure I wish to put on any of my students. Nor do I feel it's fair for those that are now unable to make it. Not only this, but bringing so many families together so close to Christmas with the possibility of spreading the virus is not something I could live with. We all deserve an amazing Christmas after last year being so difficult. The team at Stowe are now working on finding another suitable date for our show to be rescheduled. So all this hard work, has not been lost. I will of course be in touch with this date as soon as I have it. I am so deeply sorry to my dancers and their families who may be disappointed with my decision, but I hope that you understand I am doing this in the hope of everyone staying safe and having a great Christmas with their families.
